Its PIMPS 'N PINUPS night at recycled venue The Adelaide Basement in Wine Street Car Park. MC for the night is local comedian Barry Cullen with special guests gorelesque babe Lucy Rhinehart, dark tribal bellydancer Kadri, cougar comedian Pussie Byrne and burlesque sweetheart Miss Jet. Also resident performers Claudia Shifter and Su Nami and DJ set by Shane Tivo.

"Lucy Rhinehart is is a grotesque burlesque and alternative cabaret performer, bringing elements of horror, the weird, the queer and the macabre in all her acts. Coming from a background of drama and the arts, Lucy combines comedy, freakishness and fetish with inspiration from old-school burlesque. Inspired by diverse influences and artists from Marilyn Manson to Audrey Hepburn, she brings glamour through the gutter and out the other side. Lucys unsettling performances will leave you uncomfortably entertained.... "

Thursday 24th of November
DOORS: 8PM
VENUE CHANGE! VENUE CHANGE! MOVED TO THE TRADESCLUB, 2 CASTLE ST.
8/10 euros

FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY! International cabaret star/modern clown Chris Lynam comes to Sligo!

Chris Lynam is renowned for many things, but mainly for bringing his brand of crazed humour to bear on unsuspecting audiences. His comedy is both dangerous and exciting, stretching variety to its limits.

Any one show may include pyrotechnics, acrobatics, outlandish operatic and orchestral overtures (alongside multi faceted diva, Kate McKenzie) a sousaphone with a mind of it's own and anything else which may spring to Mr Lynam's unnecessarily large and vivid imagination.

With support acts Gerry McBride and Claudia Shifter.

"Chris Lynam is a brilliantly bizarre antidote to today's truculent society"

New York Times.

"mahout of the bizarre buffoon extraordinaire to wit"
The Times.

"Surreal unhinged quality which makes for comic greatness"
The Guardian.
